Housing Solutions for Independent Living

There is clear international support to promote greater independence and choice in housing for people with disabilities (PwD). However, it is widely agreed that people with disabilities still face challenges in accessing affordable, accessible housing. HS4IL - Housing Solutions for Independent Living project aims to identify, analyse, and disseminate innovations that effectively support accessible housing solutions for persons with disabilities. Concretely, the project will aim to create a good practices database for innovative housing experiences, prepare a detailed analysis of the needs and barriers, establish a learning network, and prepare recommendations for policymakers. The project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, will run for three years starting in September 2024.
