BARRIO aims to streamline and enhance large-scale building renovations through a comprehensive approach that includes demand aggregation, supply coordination, and the use of industrialized prefabricated solutions. The project aims to propose a solution for addressing renovation fragmentation, improving energy efficiency, and fostering sustainability. Its approach aligns with the EU-level objectives for deep renovation and carbon reduction in the building sector. To achieve the project’s goals, a Defragmentation Multidisciplinary Toolkit (DMT) will be developed. Affordable housing providers will take part to test potential comprehensive and cost-effective renovation solutions.
