The fourth edition of the National Social Housing Week (Semaine Nationale des Hlm), organized by l’Union Sociale pour l’Habitat (USH), will take place from 4 to 12 June.
This year, the focus will be on “Being a player in a changing society”, aiming to highlight the challenges that social housing providers have to address.
Over nine days, this citizen appointment will gather different actors of the social housing landscape to highlight the role of social housing in the French society. Social housing organizations, regional associations, tenants, residents, elected representative; everyone who is one or another involved is invited to discuss around various social housing topics, from energy transition to social cohesion.
As every year the event will be used as a platform to share experiences, propose creative ideas and enhance original initiatives and swarming practices in terms of social housing through the various events that will be organized. Debates, forums, exhibitions, and expositions aiming at generating new solutions will punctuate the week.
Alongside those events, another high point of this week will be the short-film awards organized by USH on June 9th. The ceremony will follow after screening the films of the laureates.
