The Horizon 2020 project ‘European Legitimacy in Governing through Hard Times: the role of European Networks’ (ENLIGHTEN)- Housing Europe is a partner and the Jean Monnet Project at the Institute for European Studies will host on May 22nd and 23rd the First Biennial Conference "EU in European Affairs: Controversial Approaches towards European Solidarity – From Burden Sharing To Integration"
Participants include the heads of both IEE and IES, Anne Weyembergh and Karel De Gucht, Vivien Schmidt, Philippe De Bruycker and former Commissioner, Laszlo Andor among others.
Housing Europe Research Coordinator, Alice Pittini will deliver a presentation on the first day of the conference, May 22nd, on the topic 'Access to affordable housing: bridging the gap between theory and practice'.
