Housing Europe shares experiences in Rimini, Italy
Rimini, 10 December 2018 | Published in SocialThe conference in Rimini under the AMIF project FRA-NOI was a great opportunity for Housing Europe to discuss and present our Members best practices across Europe, as well as sharing our expertise on this timely topic.
The conference was on the “housing autonomy of holders of international protection”. Housing Europe Migration and Integration Policy Assistant, Abderrahim Khairi participated in a roundtable presentation with representatives from the rental private market and the academia, as we believe that a holistic approach is what is needed to foster the process of integration.
This process cannot be reached unless we looking back to the promising practices and move forward to a more inclusive approach that empowers migrants in our societies. And so, inclusion means not only the provision of essential tools, resources, and skills but, more importantly, the cultivation of an environment which nurtures the creativity, potential, and capabilities already existing within.
