Making use of EU funding for Energy Efficiency
Housing Europe presents at LOSZ GA in Hungary
Budapest, 20 May 2015 | Published in Energy, EconomyOur Hungarian member, LOSZ, held its annual GA in Budapest in the beginning of the month, inviting also external participants from Brussels, Germany, Austria etc. to share their expertise and views. Housing Europe was there to present the work done at EU level on energy efficiency funding opportunities.
Housing Europe Policy Assistant, Edit Lakatos held a presentation about the use of EU Funds for energy efficiency in the new legislative period 2014-2020.
Edit mentioned all relevant EU pieces of legislation and programmes such as ESIF, Horizon 2020, EEEF and ELENA while pointing out the funding opportunities. She stressed the fact that in the new period ESIF Funds support the so-called Multifund OPs what can be accessed by a large scale of beneficiaries, from individual households to whole apartment buildings.
In the second part, she highlighted the new features in the Hungarian Operational Programme and its priorities while giving some suggestions on how to prepare an application for a successful project.
