Housing Europe Spanish Cooperative member organisation, CONCOVI- the Confederation of Housing and Renewal Cooperatives of Spain- has published its report about the state of cooperative housing under construction. The total economic volume generated during 2016 by 66 CONCOVI cooperative members in the Community of Madrid amounts to around 1,4 billion Euros.

Every month we introduce you to one of the people leading the work of our member organisations. In this edition, we travel to the Hague to meet the new President of Aedes, the Federation of the Dutch Social Housing Associations. Marnix Norder introduces the organisation, gives us information about the perception of housing in the Netherlands, the country with the largest social housing sector in Europe, and shares some thoughts about the current challenges at national and regional level. A policy paper “Energy poverty in Greece; Social innovation proposals to tackle the phenomenon” was recently published by the Heinrich Βöll Foundation Greece in collaboration with the social cooperative 'Wind of Renewal' and ΙΝΖΕΒ – the Institute of Zero Energy Buildings.
