SFHA releases a series of briefings, guiding members through tough times
The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) has convened a group of key organisations in order to respond to the evolving and significant challenges which the social housing sector is experiencing as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. Following conversations with the Scottish Government and the Scottish Housing Regulator, SFHA set up the Social Housing Resilience Group.
In this moment of general adversity, due to the limitations imposed by the Coronavirus emergency measures, the Social Consortium Care Expert and Acer Reggio Emilia have activated a project called "Welfare on the road", a free proximity service that carries out tutoring and assistance to the inhabitants of the main public housing districts of the city. ACER Reggio Emilia President, Marco Corradi, former Board Member of Housing Europe, has shared the basic elements of the project with us.
GdW pushes for coordinated partnerships to protect tenants
GdW, the Federal Association of Housing and Real Estate Companies, the umbrella organization of the relevant sectors in Germany along with their real estate sector partners issued a joint statement, stressing how coordinated partnerships are now more vital than ever.
