Launch conference of the European Network for Housing & Urban Development (ENH)

Housing Europe Secretary General, Sorcha Edwards will be among the keynote speakers at the launch conference of the European Network for Housing & Urban Development (ENH) that will take place in Bochum on Thursday, April 7th 2016.
Organised by the European Education Center for Housing and Real Estate Economy EBZ (Europäisches Bildungszentrum der Wohnungs- und Immobilienwirtschaft) the conference will shed light to the most important policy developments at EU level with an extra focus on EU funding programmes. At the same time it will explore the role of the housing federations and associations, while inspiring projects will be presented to participants.
Sorcha will present the role and activities of Housing Europe and will refer to the political background of EU funding programs.
The EBZ is a charitable foundation operating under the sponsorship of the Housing Europe German member organisation, GdW Bundesverband deutscher Wohnungs- und Immobilienunternehmen e. V., the VdW Verband der Wohnungswirtschaft Rheinland Westfalen e.V., and the BFW Bundesverband Freier Wohnungsunternehmen.
The foundation‘s purpose is to promote vocational training, further and continuing education, university-level study, and research in the areas of housing, real estate and real estate credit.
Five departments are combined under the umbrella of the EBZ: The EBZ Berufskolleg (Vocational College), the EBZ Business School – University of Applied Sciences, the EBZ Academy, the research and consultancy institute InWIS, and EBZ Service GmbH.
