Social Housing and Property Rights in Kosovo (partner)
SHPRK
Social Housing and Property Rights in Kosovo (SHPRK) is an NGO established to identify individuals or families who are in need of social housing and to assist them to acquire social accommodation. Furthermore the SHPRK is established to provide legal assistance in social housing and property rights-related matters to all those individuals and groups of people who are eligible for free legal aid.
The idea to create this NGO is a long-standing one, as we believe that there is a clear need for assistance in the area of property rights and social housing. There is virtually no support stemming from the civil society organisations in this regard, which is a deficit that we are aiming to fill with our expertise and experience.
To this effect, SHPRK obtained its certificate of registration on 23rd March 2009 from the Ministry of Public Services in Kosovo.
As the first NGO in Kosovo to deal with issues of property rights and social housing, their aim is to be proactive in this direction, and position themselves near the citizens of Kosovo and assist them in the realisation of their property rights, as well as all those persons and families who don’t have (adequate) housing.
