The Dutch Rental Housing Day

For over 150 years, social housing corporations are making sure people have a good housing and living environment. More than four million Dutch - one in three households - live rent a home from a social housing corporation.

During this national open day more than 85 social housing corporations organized various activities in neighbourhoods, villages and cities: e.g. a bike ride along new construction projects and energy-efficient housing or an open house event at the maintenance center.

Every social housing corporation will organise its own Rental Housing Day. Almost 26.000 people work in the sector.  During the Rental Housing Day it's all about the job they are doing for four million persons and the stories they want to share with their tenants.
