PROF / TRAC project meeting held in Valencia
Steps ahead after training the trainers
Valencia, 15 March 2016 | Published in EnergyLast week, Housing Europe participated in the project meeting of PROF-TRAC hosted by the IVE, the construction institute in Valencia. PROF-TRAC is EU funded project developing an open training and qualification platform for all stakeholders dealing with nearly zero energy buildings.
This interdisciplinary project targets technical experts, architects and managers involved in the construction and refurbishment of nZEB. The developed training and qualification scheme will be part of a life-long learning process to continuously up-skill professionals.
After the first train the trainers program was held in Prague, this meeting came timely to discuss the steps ahead, particularly for the national pilot seminars. During the meeting, the participants discussed each work package, its status quo and future steps.
For Housing Europe, it was particularly important to get an overview of the train the trainers program and the target groups for the national pilot programs. Housing Europe will reach out to members to get involved in the project in the coming weeks. The next project meeting including a train the trainers program will be held in September in Croatia.
