Making homes more energy efficient is essential, not only for the environment but also to ensure affordable housing, without leaving anyone behind. But for this to be possible, we need large-scale and accessible solutions. Heat pumps are an effective, environment friendly and versatile starting point for achieving this goal. Thanks to the Install.res project, Housing Europe will participate in finding and testing successful solutions, and developing procedures, manuals, tools, and standards to allow developers to deploy heat pumps more rapidly and on a larger scale than currently possible. From November 2024 onwards, we will be supported by Sozial Bau, a not-for-profit housing provider from Austria.
