With more than 2.2 million rental homes, housing companies are the largest homeowner in the Netherlands and, thus, an important partner. This is why 36 housing companies, five heat companies, tenant’s association, the central government and municipalities have signed the Starter Engine agreement to connect homes to a collective heat system and keep the heat supply affordable.
