Renovation policies in Southern Europe
Financing, social impact and proactiveness
On 25 April, Housing Europe Spanish member, AVS along with the municipality of Barcelona, Registrars of Spain and the Association of the Catalan social housing managers (GHS) host, with the support of Housing Europe, an international conference with focus on the renovation policies in Southern Europe. The goal of the Conference is to bring together best practices in terms of funding for housing renovation and to discuss scalability potentials and transferability across borders.

Τhis summer Housing Europe, the European Federation of Public, Cooperative and Social Housing and Aedes- the Federation of Dutch Social Housing Associations invite you to take part in a unique celebration of decent, affordable housing for all. On the occasion of the International Social Housing Festival taking place in June 2017 in Amsterdam, Housing Europe will host its annual policy conference jointly with its member organisation, Aedes. TENLAW: One year later
Alternative housing tenures in Europe & modern challenges of housing
The “Tenancy Law and Housing Policy in a Multi-level Europe” (TENLAW) research Project provided the first large-scale comparative and European law survey of tenancy law. 27 research institutions from all over Europe were involved and the results of this project were presented at a concluding conference in Budapest in September 2015. The next conference in September 2016 will take a second look at the research results of the TENLAW project one year later with a focus on so called “alternative housing tenures” in Europe.
